Quality underlay

A veneer flooring has to be protected underneath against moisture. A moisture proof foil as underfloor is necessary for a perfect final result.

Standard underlay
The standard underlay (2mm) consists of foam and foil and has a self-adhesive strip to stick the edges of the foil together.

Underlay with aluminium
This underlay reduces the reflection of noise and smoothes away blemishes. Always put the aluminium upwards and tape the edges with water resistant tape to avoid water damage to the boards.

Damp proof membrane
The damp proof membrane is used for floors with an integrated cork layer. To avoid water damage, always tape the edges with water resistant tape.

Installation set

PAR-KY is easy to install. With our installation kit you have everything you need to install your flooring quickly and without damage: expansion spacers, hitting block, striking bar.

Skirtings and profiles

After the installation of the veneer flooring, you have to finish the floor with matching wooden skirtings or paintable skirtings. In addition to this, we also offer a 3-in-1 profile in all wood species. This profile is used for the following 3 applications: end-profile (jointless horizontal finish), reducer-profile (as a bridge to lower floors), T-profile (transition between 2 floors). The T-profile can be used as expansion profile.

Maintenance and repair products

To remove the dirt without harming the lacquer, it is recommended to use the PAR-KY cleaner.  Scratches can be treated with our seal spray, the new layer protects the floor against dirt and moisture.

PAR-KY developed for each wood specie a seal spray to repair small scratches. Once applied it also avoids the penetration of dirt. Scratches in a stained floor can be made less visible by putting first a stained product into the scratches.

In case of serious damage, it is possible to replace a board even in the middle of the floor.
