1. A good beginning is half the battle

The installation instructions emphasize the importance of some precautions to ensure a longer lifetime of your Par-ky floor:

• Place felt pads under your chair legs
• Put parquet wheels under office chairs. In case of very intensive use we also advise to use a protection mat under the chair.
• Put a doormat at all entrances to prevent dirt, sand and grit from being tracked from outside, as they might scratch your floor. This is why it is important to wipe your feet before stepping on your Par-ky wood veneer floor.

2. Clean your Par-ky floor weekly

Clean your Par-ky floor weekly with our Par-ky ‘Protective’ cleaner. This maintenance product has been especially developed for weekly use and provides an additional protective layer, resulting in a longer-lasting shine. Par-ky also developed an ‘Intensive’ cleaner for a monthly thorough cleaning. This cleaner removes stubborn stains without damaging the lacquer. Read carefully the instructions on the bottle before using the Par-ky cleaner.

3. Seal spray

In case of small scratches we advise to use our Seal Spray. This spray applies an additional layer of lacquer on your floor, closes the scratch and avoids the penetration of dust. Only use the Par-ky seal spray because our spray adheres very well to the existing lacquer on the veneer floor. Read carefully the instructions on the bottle before using the Par-ky seal spray.
