Real natural wood, no exotic prices
PAR-KY is a veneer flooring with a thin real wood top layer. The veneer evoques the beauty of the PAR-KY collection. Every single board is unique because identical trees don't exist in nature.
The veneer processing technique makes also exotic wood species achievable and affordable. Nevertheless veneer flooring remains very strong.
Ecological and sustainable
In the policy of the Decospan group, respect to nature is a part of the corporate philosophy. This responsibility is shown in our Pure Wood-charter. All our suppliers are obliged to acknowledge and respect this. It is a clear signal to our suppliers and customers that our engagement for nature is an essential part of our strategy and that our wood is sourced from well-managed forests.
For the production of PAR-KY veneer flooring, we need 25 times less wood than for solid flooring. Veneer has a useful net surface of 700 to 1000m² per m³ wood. In comparison: solid wood with a thickness of 15mm has a useful net surface of 40m². The PAR-KY veneer floors are finished with a environment friendly UV curing multi-layer coating with nearly no volatile organic substances (VOS). For the staining, we only use water based stain.
PAR-KY BY SHINNOKI even goes a step forward. This collection has a FSC certificate and is free of formaldehyde.

8 layers of lacquer
The boards are finished with 8 layers of ultrastrong lacquer in 3 versions:
- Sealed satin: gloss of 20%, sealed and natural lacquered. This board is extremely strong!
- Sealed matt: gloss of 10%, sealed and mat lacquered. This board is extremely strong!
- Brushed matt: gloss of 10%, brushed and mat lacquered. This emphasizes the structure of the wood and increases the natural and luxurious aura.
Strong resistance against impact
The veneer is glued on an ultra-strong high density board (HDF). Together with the 8 layers of lacquer it results in a higher resistance to dents than solid wood or floors with a thicker top-layer.
12 to 15 years of warranty
PAR-KY veneer flooring is a product of the Decospan group, European market leader in veneer processing. Our many years of experience and our focus on innovation contribute to the quality and the reliability of our products.
Because we are convinced about the quality of our veneer flooring, we grant a warranty from 12 to 15 years, depending on the lacquering systems:
- 15 years for the collections SOUND sealed and LOUNGE sealed
- 12 years for all other collections
No need to (re)sanding
Unlike solid wooden flooring, PAR-KY never has to be (re)sanded. That saves a lot of dust, time and money. The strong layers of lacquer prevent this needless treatment.
Easy to repair
PAR-KY developed for each wood specie a seal spray to repair small scratches. Once applied it also avoids the penetration of dirt. Scratches in a stained floor can be made less visible by putting first a stained product into the scratches.
In case of serious damage, it is possible to replace a board even in the middle of the floor.
Easy to maintain
PAR-KY is easy to maintain with any high quality maintenance product. For additional protection, we advise to use the PAR-KY cleaner.
The "Aqua Sealing Complete" system makes sure that the bevels are stained in the same color as the surface. The bevels are also lacquered after the staining. Due to this system, your floor is sealed against moisture.
